Go Tell It IN The Mountains wanted preachers to gain a deeper understanding of our Pennsylvania Appalachian context. To help make that possible, we invited Gil Waldkoenig to create a series of videos that explore the cultural, historical, and spiritual landscape of our region. These videos are designed to help those who proclaim God’s Word listen more carefully to the people, stories, values, challenges, and hopes that shape life in Pennsylvania Appalachia. By paying attention to the context in which ministry happens, preachers can speak with greater humility, compassion, and relevance. This resource encourages leaders to consider how place, community, memory, resilience, and faith all influence the way the gospel is heard, received, and lived out among the people we serve.
