event, "Preaching in our Divided Time" led by Rev. Dr. Angela Zimmann.
The session will take place on May 30th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at
United Seminary’s Gettysburg Campus and via ZOOM.
As our culture becomes increasingly polarized, preachers face unique
stressors. Many are criticized for being "too political" or "choosing a side"
when applying the Gospel to real-life situations, yet are viewed as "out of
touch" or "not being real" when avoiding partisan language. This training
will go over the unique stressors you may feel and Dr. Zimmann will share
her wisdom and insights on navigating these tensions within our
congregations. We look forward to this event and invite all preachers and lay to join us for this
important learning opportunity.
