Jesus Is With Us: Even in the Hard Work of Forgiveness Matthew 18:15-20
Pastor David Pencek
What was preached on Sunday and what do you take with you now for the coming days and weeks ahead? Big part obviously was Jesus talked about forgiveness and mercy and the lengths we should go to bring people back into our communities. So maybe that's something that we want to take with us in the coming days and weeks. We're looking for people who maybe feel on the outside and trying to bring people back into community. I know forgiveness is hard for people who have been hurt, hurt bad by other people or whatever that it's hard. But then we can look to that last verse of that section that where two or three are gathered in Christ's name, Jesus is with us. And that's where we can lift any day, any week that Jesus is with us. He knows that this life is hard. He knows things are difficult, especially when we are talking about forgiveness and mercy when we have been hurt. But he's there to hold us through that and guide us through those times. He gives these lessons. He gives parables talking about that. So that's something maybe we can take with us again in the coming days and weeks ahead.
