Camp Mount Luther
Join Camp Mount Luther, Camp Sequanota, and CampLutherlyn as we learn to wear God’s love every single day!At camp, we don’t just pack our sneakers, sunscreen, and bug spray! We also pack something even more important—God’s love. And the best part is… we get to wear it, like a super-special knitted outfit for our hearts. Together, the three camps remind us: When we wear God’s love through kindness, forgiveness, calmness, humbleness and steadfastness we become walking, talking reminders of Jesus’ love in the world.
Breathe in God's Love, Breathe Out Your WorriesSometimes our worries can keep us from fully living the life God gives us. Just like superheroes can face big challenges, we can sometimes feel stopped by our fears, concerns, or anxious thoughts. The good news is that God has given us a companion who is always with us: the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is God with us—close to you and me every day.Remember: Don’t be like Bucket Man—breathe in God's love and breathe out your worries.
When we’re humble—when we admit our mistakes and try to make things right—we’re wearing God’s love like a bright, shiny badge. And just like Zacchaeus, Jesus sees us, knows us, and loves us… even when we’re stuck in a tree.
God’s love is strong and steady, just like a tree with deep roots. When the wind blows and the branches sway, the tree stays rooted in the ground. God’s love helps us stand strong, too—even when things feel hard, confusing, or a little scary. Wear God’s love by being steadfastness: trusting God, showing kindness, helping others, and remembering that we are always held in God’s care.
Wearing Love Through KindnessDiscover how God’s love knits us together and teaches us to “wear love” in everyday life. Elijah was hungry and thirsty, and the widow had only a little food left. But God was with them. When the widow showed kindness and trusted God, there was enough food for everyone. This story helps you see that God’s love is generous, and when we share kindness, we help others experience that love too.
Forgiveness is like putting on a cozy jacket made of God’s love. When we forgive others, we show the kind of love Jesus teaches us to share. Sometimes we get grumpy, impatient, or say things that feel prickly—like stepping on a LEGO in bare feet! But saying “I’m sorry” is a brave first step toward making things better. Forgiveness helps friendships, families, and communities heal and grow. It is one of the special ways we learn to live together with kindness, love, and a little extra grace. Lets keep practicing to wear LOVE TOGETHER!
