Ready for Sunday
A weekly reflection series from Go Tell It IN the Mountains
Ready for Sunday is a short reflection series created to help people prepare their hearts and minds before Sunday worship. Each video offers a brief, thoughtful look at the upcoming Gospel reading, giving viewers a chance to begin engaging the message early in the week. In just a few minutes, Ready for Sunday creates space to listen, reflect, and respond before the Word is preached. It’s a simple rhythm: pause, hear the scripture, consider its meaning, and carry that reflection into worship.
Why Ready for Sunday Matters
One of the core goals of the Go Tell It IN the Mountains initiative is to encourage people to respond to compelling preaching by integrating the Gospel into daily life — shaping attitudes, actions, and ministries throughout the week. Ready for Sunday is one small but meaningful way to help that happen.
By offering early engagement with the Gospel, we hope to:
•Prepare people to hear the sermon more deeply
•Build a habit of reflecting on scripture throughout the week
•Encourage spiritual attentiveness beyond Sunday morning
•Support discipleship that continues long after the service ends
•Offer a library of videos that can help in sermon preparation
Where You Can Find It
Ready for Sunday is released throughout the week on social media, YouTube and our Video On Demand Section, making it easy to watch wherever you are. Whether you’re commuting, taking a break, or winding down at night, these reflections meet you in real time — offering a gentle invitation to slow down and listen.
The Invitation
Come prepared to hear the Gospel. Come ready to live it.
Ready for Sunday isn’t just content— it’s a weekly practice of opening your heart before worship, so that when the Word is proclaimed, you’re already listening.

Ready for Sunday Blogs: A Weekly Gospel Companion
When our Ready for Sunday videos aren’t available, we don’t want you to feel unprepared or disconnected. That’s why we offer a short, thoughtful posting of each week’s reading, something you can relate to, something that meets you in real life, and something that helps you walk into Sunday’s service with an open heart.
Why We Share These Weekly Gospel Posts
We know life moves fast. These posts are meant to meet you right where you are—on your lunch break, in the car line, between meetings, or at the end of a long day. Just a few minutes of grounding before Sunday.
Our Hope for You
We hope these weekly postings help you feel connected, prepared, and spiritually awake. We hope they stir something meaningful in you. And we hope they make Sunday’s message richer because you’ve already begun the conversation with God.
If a reflection resonates with you, share it. Someone else may need that same word of hope.
