Scott Schul

Steering Committee

Rev. Scott E. Schul is Senior Pastor of Grace Lutheran Church in State College, where he has served since 2014. A native of Kane, PA, he serves as a member of the Steering Committee of Go Tell. In addition, he is a member of the Allegheny Synod Finance Committee.

Pastor Schul has a B.S. in Economics from Clarion University, a Juris Doctorate from the West Virginia University College of Law, an LL.M. in Taxation from the Boston University School of Law, and an M. Div. from the Gettysburg Lutheran Theological Seminary. Prior to attending seminary, Pastor Schul practiced law for 16 years.

In his free time, Pastor Schul enjoys travel, reading, making and listening to music, and gardening.
